The Pale Coast
"Nothin' here but bones. Bones, heckin' everywhere. These sands? Bones? Salt too, it's all just salt!" — A delirious sailer, found wandering on the shore.
Geography
Located on the southern edge of the Kenada mainland, the Pale Coast stretches from one end of the Shifting Desert Syrcrahst to the other end, marking the transition into the Sea of the Dead.
The beach itself consists of a mix between sand, bone fragments and copious amount of salt, formed by the endless waves coming in from the Sea of the Dead, creating a sight where white covers from horizon to horizon. The washed-up things, dredged up by the shore will eventually decompose, devoured and broken down into fragments. The combination of these materials makes the Pale Coast an inhospitable place for most life forms but the preying vultures. Combined with the constant shifting mist, the Pale Coast makes a sinister location for any unfortunate travellers.
The Pale Coast is almost completely devoid of life. No permanent settlers ever found purchase on this location — aside from the occasional camp of lizard man.
Fauna & Flora
The composition of the beach makes the beach even more inhospitable than the desert. The salt, even though humid, turns the beach into a mass of unliving, soggy wasteland.

Ship Wreaks
Over the centuries, every ship and vessel that was sunk within the Sea of the Dead would eventually find their way onto the Pale Coast, washing onto the beach. The wreckage, torn apart by the salty water and decomposing air, turns into crystal-encrusted skeletons that litter the sand like so many giant rib cages. These once-ships, even though as ruined as they are, may contain loot for the brave. May contain:- Coins
